How To Obtain A Copy of an already Installed Akp

As we all know, Android device have huge market place like, GooglePlay Store, MoboMarket etc. From this markets, we can easily search and downlaod any type of android game/apps with no stress. But when we search and find the app or game we want, there would be only one option that is to install. From there the apk file is directly installed on your device. APK file is the compatible extentioned apps that can only be installed on android phone just like *.exe is compatible for windows.
After being installed. Then those file downloaded are no longer available for sharing to other device as we used to share that of symbian app *.sis

In this case, any other device will have to download the same app from Playstore, which I think is to some extent wasting of megabytes since in Nigeria here, you have to subscribe. You won't understand until your freinds ask you to share them.

What if you want to have them saved on your memory card, Maybe after downloading? You might even discover a useful app on your freinds phone which is not available for send as he has donwloaded it from playstore or the app was an inbult and no way to be sent.

I have concluded to share these two steps based on my research, you can stil help us with any techniqu about that.

These are the Two Methods to Obtain an Already Installed Android App Without having to Download from another source.

1. Using APK extractor.



Apk extractor is one of the most popular Application used to extract an already installed apk. It is also available on playstore. As have explaind earlier, this Application allows you to extract apk file from Application Manager in any android phone, and with that you can move them to your SDcard and have them saved for further use. Incase you wiped your phone and all that. You can even shared them with your freinds after the extraction. It is very easy and fast.

Select or mark the Apps you have planned to extract. Then, tap menu > and hit settings to change the path/location to where you want to save them (the apk files).

Note: Its is suggested you should have file explore so you can navigate easily to be default location after extracting. /sdcard/xtractedApks/.

2nd Method:- Using File Exporer.

Steps to Use ES File Explorer to Extract

Download and Install it as well. And if you already have one proceed to number two. I know the app is that common.



After laucnging the App, navigate to the tool menu. From there Select Application Manager



In application manager, there will be a list of Already installed apps on your device. Select the file which .apk file you want to obtain.

Click on Backup and your Apk file will start extracting. From there, browse the location you want to save the file. Get it saved and have fun.
