Galaxy Core Prime Micro SD Card Issues

I need assistance with a Galaxy Core Prime model number SM-G36OAZ. It's not mine but my girlfriends she's had for a while and for all I can remember here Micro SD Card has never wanted to mount. I've tried other cards and none of them want to work she has a 32gb San Disk Micro SD going to waste and she's in need of space. I don't know what there is I can do that's why I'm here there's plenty of smart minds that may be able to help me and maybe many others who might have this situation any help is gratefully appreciated.
