Make you own case?

I have a number of friends that use "Plasti Dip" for things it should not be used for. I am wondering if it could be used to make a case for the Note 7....... You can chose from a number of colors, finishes, clear coats, etc,etc,etc....

Then there is also cerakote which is used to re-coat fire arms, I am sure cerakote would take the abuse of a phone dropping.... or maybe those sprayable truck bed liners like Line X or Rhino Lining...... I have seen them coat cinder blocks with that stuff and drop them from 4 stories up and the cinder block does not break or crack........ It's just a thought....... :D
