Assured Steps to Create Themes (.nth) For Your Java Phone - Complete Guide!

Modding is fun, i just remebered when i was struggling, tryin my effort to Mod - modding i mean, Themes, jar, Operamini and other Java exuctable stuffs.
It was then, very hard, modding was the pride of everything man surffing on line, a real site owner then, must learn all this ishs,

if you dont sabi, you have to go and learn as well, cause there i no way you can cope then without it..


Those days, we been wondering if its possible for one to customize theme with his or her own pic, but this though came to my mind once upon a time i was imagining it.. And then, i finally conlcuded that its possible, since na man build am also' so I started the misrable research, was then kiddy thing.


Finally i comfirmed that modding theme is just as simple as chewing gum..

Theme is a zip archieve file, compressed after which is been embeded, how it functions by the xml file in it.. Xo when ever you expose a nth file, you will find out that there is always a file (theme discription.xml). Back in the days; who cares to know that? No one!

They - we dont giv a 4cking ish about the .xml fle inside,

we only then, know the necessary parts of the Theme by applying them first on our phones befor arranging for the modding. You feel lik God!

But knowing the xml file is more important, you can, change colours, and other widgets embeed in it.. I wunt talk about that now!

So lemme explain berifly, how to mod themes for java phone.nth


HOW TO CREATE THEMES ON YOUR JAVA
PHONE USING BLUEFTP (.nth/sis) for Symbians too.

Make sure all the pics you want to use
for your theme are ready.

I knw everyone here have his/her favorite theme? If not then, why dont you try get one??

Now, Take any theme you have on your phone,
because we are going to edit the contents
of the theme so as to make yours.


Now, creat new folder on your memory card.. name it anything. Jst a fresh new folder!

Open your blueftp, locate the theme
you want to use, open it.



Now the files used in ur theme are now listed. You see how it works abi?



Now, with your
blueftp, select options and click "select all",
then choose "extract items"

yeh! Once you do this, you realise the apps kicked you out of the Folder, dont mind, Just head to the new folder you were asked to create.. Thats where you are gonna place those items you have copied.

Scroll to the folder E.g





Open it, its empty!

Press Menu, and choose Extract Selected Items Here, now, based on your phone security, you have to be chilled and a little busy.. Dont letgo! Keep pressing yes to allow the apps (Blutfp) to grant permission to your Memorycard. only when it asks



The app wants to help you place those items you copied to the new folder so grant the access. Keep pressing yes till its Done "Extract Completed Successfully"



you see? good!

So after all these steps, go take a bottle of champaigne cause you just begin.. I recommend you take sigratte too. #winkx!

Feel relaxed! Since you have used the theme befor, am sure you have noted the themes and its positions as well.

Now, there are many pictures inside the folder.. Start clicking on the images one aftr the other.

You will start replacing the pictures in that folder, with ur pictures (preffered ones tho.)

HOw to Replace The Pictures

Just keep opening the image, anywhere you see a picture that looks familiar - you probably know the position too. It maybe at the background or wherever. It ball is in ur hands sha

So assuming in this screenshoot below;




"gridbg.jpg" was the background for the theme. then, you simple press Menu and scroll to "rename item" now, the text box containing the text to rename is popped up




So now, you dont need to change anything there, you only have to - press option - from your phone, and select copy all.

The text is copied! You are using it rightaway, go to the folder you have saved your pic, located the one you wanna use for background.

As for me, sinse "gridbg" was the background, i wisely go for my background..

on that picture - pressed Menu and clicked on "renamin item"

A text box is pooped up also, just clear the name their, everything, and paste the one you copied last. Mine was gridbg.jpg, i quickly pasted , saved and copied it.

You have to copy and past it for replacing which i have xplained above.

On that same picture (u jst renamed so) press 1 to copy, or you can simple to that if you follow the Menu.

Aftr copied. Drive to the folder you save the raw pic, press 3 without wasting time, a dialogue box will pop up, where you will be asked for a replacement.





Dont press rename, jst hit overwrite sinse your aim there is to replace the pic.

Weeeewh! See as itak sweat!!!

Chai! If you no invit yur freind there is God!!!


Ok thats its how you should continue doing it, change everything to your satisfaction, avoid big files o.. If ur pic too big for size, try resize am befor your phone go dey hang aftr u don suffer finish.

You go cry mak i tell you!!

Good, i dey wait mak una finish, you don change finish ?? I no u stingy, lols.


After you have changed everything, in that same folder press Menu - Select all, Press Menu again, scroll to "Compress Items (nth)




the last text box is now popped up, put the name of the theme there but dont delete the .nth there, thats the extention. Without thats ur phone wunt recognize the filed..
Then, press Ok




Compressing



Keep pressing yes, if its asks

Successfull!!



Once you see that message, your theme is ready! Scroll down, u will see it there, copy it to your desired folder, Exit Bluft, Apply ur new Theme!!!
