Is there any root methods or roms being worked on for Lg stylus 2 plus (LG-K557)?

Information about my phone:
-its a LG stylus 2 plus (LG-k557)
-my carrier is fido
-android 6.0.1
- i got the phone from fido not metro pcs

My questions:
Has anyone manged to root this phone yet?
Has anyone started making a rom from the source code yet?(i do realize that if theres no root theres no rom, but mabe some on made one)
