Should I root my note 4

I have a t-mobile note 4. I am thinking about rooting my phone but wanted to know the pros and cons. I know a while back it was worth it workout a question. However, now that we are in 2016 is it really worth it? I know about Knox but I never use it so it won't be an issue losing it.
