Steps On How To Flash/Upgrade Android Devices With Intel Chipset

Hey guys today am going to show you another tutorial on how to flash/upgrade android devices with Intel Chipset (Intel SoC), The tutorial below shows you how to flash devices like Chuwi, Telcast, Onda, PiPo and many more!

This tutorial also helps when you want to flash android partition into a multi purpose device ,example:  A device running on both android Os and windows Os, This process is easy and you don't need a professional to do it for you.

Before we proceed the following files below need to be downloaded and installed properly on your pc.. Works on all Windows Version.

The following files below can sometimes be found in upgrade tool folder inside firmware folder. If it’s not there, Download and install the following files below

iSocUSB-Driver-Setup >>DOWNLOAD HERE

intelAndroidDrvSetup>>  DOWNLOAD HERE

ManufacturingFlashTool_Setup>>DOWNLOAD HERE

After Downloading and installing the above files copy CUSTOM_CONFIG.INI file found inside upgrade tool folder to C:\Program Files\Intel\Manufacturing Flash

After we are done with all installations, we can now proceed on how to flash/upgrade the devices with intel chipset

Step 1: Launch Manufacturing Flash Tool
In the menu bar, click File and select Settings

Step 2: Change SoC Devices Values to the following VID: 8087 and PID: 0A65

Step 3: Change Android Devices Values the following VID: 8087 and PID: 09EF
Click Apply then OK
Now Click File again and this time select Open
Navigate to the firmware folder and select the xml file

NOTEIf it’s a Dual OS tablet, you will find two xml files (flash.xml and flash_nonpartition.xml)Flash.xml will erase the whole system turning making it Android OS only.Flash_nonpartition.xml will keep windows partition. If you have plans to install windows OS later use this.So select xml file according to your choice.

Now that the file has been selected, turn off the device
Press and hold Volume up + Volume down  + Power button at the same time
Let go of the buttons when you see the following text on screen below

After the process above now connect your phone to your system(pc) with a good usb cable

When connected A blue progress bar showing the percentage will be seen on your pc screen.

Flashing/upgrading process will be complete when it reaches 100% so relax and wait for the process to complete.

After flashing/upgrade is complete you can disconnect your device and reboot....thats all you have to do if your using a device with intel chip

If the device you are flashing is Dual OS, you can now proceed to flash the Windows OS..
