Nigeria’s future bright – Osinbajo
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday in Ibadan reiterated that Nigeria’s future was bright in spite of the pains caused by the economic challenge the country was currently experiencing.
Osinbajo gave the assurance in Ibadan at the burial ceremony for Prophetess Christiana Abiara, the wife of Prophet Samuel Abiara, the General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide.
The deceased died on September 3, and was aged 70 years.
The vice president said there was nothing good that comes without pains, adding that the current hardship was “ a road to bliss and will soon pass.’’
He thanked God for the life of the deceased whom he said worshipped God as a Christian and bequeathed such on her children.
Osinbajo, who commiserated with the family on behalf of the Federal Government, said that Prophet Abiara had continued to serve God faithfully and would continue in this service inspite of his loss.
He said, “Abiara is one of the fathers of faith in the country. He prays everyday for the people and the country at large. His prayers have helped us a lot.
“When I was nominated as the Vice Presidential candidate of my party, he was the second person I contacted after Pastor Enoch Adeboye. He counselled and prayed for me.
“Sir, you have chosen to serve God and I pray you will see it to the end. May God bless your seeds.”
