Is this 2014 HD 7 bricked or can it be fixed?

I was given a 2014 KF HD 7, know nothing of the device's history. It just hangs at the "Fire" logo. I can access the stock recovery but it's full of errors relating to the cache. Is there any fix or is this a bricked unit? I guess I cant post a link to the uploaded picture, but this is the first error in the list "E: failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)"
