Lockscreen not working

For several weeks now my lockscreen does not work. I am set to lock and require a pin after power key press or 2 minutes inactivity.

If it closes from time or a power button pres when I repress the power button it opens at the last screen.

Have searched and don't see anyone else with this problem.

Any thoughts on how to get this back working?
