Rockchip SD Card Firmware Burning Tool

Rockchip SD Card  Firmware Tool.


MicroSD Burning Tool .


This tool will help Installing firmware on Rockchip Tablets with MicroSd card. You can write firmware image on MicroSD card and restore or update your Rockchip tablets. Upgrade or restore any Rockchip tablet without computer or Flashing Tools.
Before proceeding make sure you have right firmware. Wrong firmware will not boot up or may harmful for your tablet pc.So make sure to check the firmware structure (Size and parameters after burning on sd card)



Things to remember before Flashing Tablet Pc 

Download Rockchip upgrade disk tool 

How to Update / Restore Rockchip Tablet with MicroSD Card. 


Double Click SD_Firmware_Tool.exe

Select Removable Disk (Memory card Drive) and click on upgrade firmware. (as shown below).


Burn firmware on sd card

Click Firmware a pop up window will open .Select Img file for  Rockchip Tablet Pc which you have download from official's web page. (as shown in image)

Click on Create , a window will pop up "Creating upgrade disk, Data will ose in the disk,yes or no? Select "Yes" to format memory card .

Burning Process will begun .Firmware will be start written on Sd Card.

When the process complete the following message will be shown 
"1 Creating upgrade disk ok"

Files should be in memory card like " rksdfw.tag , sd_boot_config , sdupdate ".

Insert memory card in tablet. Start power button , written Firmware will update your tablet pc.

What is Hard Reset ?

A hard reset is also called Factory reset. When you restore your Android device to state when it  left the factory or first time the Smartphones or Tablets turns on . Hard Reset erase all user setting,contents (i.e games,contacts,messages,apps preference setting ,bookmarks,third party apps as well .) So if you're enough lucky then you can make  backup of all your data before hard reset .In most cases user data lost. Different Android Devices have different method for Hard Reset. 

When Hard Reset is Necessary for Smartphones or Tablets ?

1. Forgotten Pattern Lock on Android Tablets or Smartphones. 
2.Too many pattern attempts / Reset user lock.
3. Tablets PC,Smartphones stuck on Gmail account.
4. Android Tablet PC stuck / freeze on Android logo.
5. Tablet Android or Smartphones hang on start-up / Multiple errors generating by OS. 
6. Android market having problems or generating errors. 
7.Upgrading to new Android version.
 Make sure to charge battery upto 60%.

How to Hard Reset Argos CnM TouchPad Android tablet pc ?



  • Make sure the tablet is charged up to 60%
  • Turn off the tablet completely .
  • Press Volume + button , while holding Volume + button , plug in charger. 
  • Release the volume + button. 
  • Press Volume + again and press Power button to boot the CnM Tablet. 
  • When Android logo appear , release the volume + button. 
  • Press Power Button again and press volume + button , Recovery Menu will be appear . 
  • Press the volume down and select “wipe data/factory reset” 
  • Power button to select it 
  • You will see “Yes – delete all user data” 
  • Select “Yes”press “Power” button to select it 
  • Formating will start. it will delete all user data . 
  • Few seconds later, you should see the recovery menu again. Select reboot. 
  • It will take approximately 2 to 3 minutes to take you back to its factory (out-of-the-box) state . 
    you are done.
    This Hard Reset method will work with all models of CnM touchpad tablets.

    • Turn off the tablet completely and remove the charger if connected.
    • Hold down both the volume up and down buttons and then the power button.
    • When “Monster” logo appears, leave all the buttons.
    • You should see a green android robot with blue recovery menu.
    • Press the volume down and select “wipe data/factory reset”
    • Power button to select it
    • You will see “Yes – delete all user data”
    • Select “Yes” with help of volume down button  and press the “Power” button to select it
    • Few seconds later, you should see the blue menu again. Select reboot.
    • It will take approximately 4-5 minutes to take you back to its factory (out-of-the-box) state.
