[ROM] Phoenix Vibe 1604 ST For Lenovo A7000 plus (lollipop)

Here's a ROM based on the VibeUI 3.0 ROM for K3 Note (1605 ST). Still on Android 5.1.

Sorry, this is not multilanguage, only English and Chinese because this is a Chinese K3 Note ROM.

LED works and Double Tap to Wake Works.

This is basically the 1604 ST ROM with some of my modifications to make it a bit smoother.

- Some bloat/Chinese apps removed
- Dolby Atmos added
- Rooted

[Solved] SD Card Damaged Try Reformatting It

I have heard that few people getting "SD Card Damaged Try Reformatting It" with custom ROM's so for this you can follow this post. This will help you to fix this temporary error which caused by any custom ROM. Please note, it may be happen that this error can permanently damage your SD card content too so in case you need to download additional data restore app or software.

Follow the step to fix this error

If it prompt to reformat, don't reform instead take out the card from your device
Use card reader and insert it in your phone/tablet
This may fix the error and your card start working.

If above method does not works

Insert your memory card in computer running any windows version
Open command line with administrator privileges
Type the below command where X: is your SD card letter

chkdsk /f X:

How to edit Android apps from within your device

There are so many reasons why you might want to edit an app on your device. Could be because you want to correct something 'you deem' an error in the UI, change or modify the app permissions, edit UI text, etc.

With Apkeditor, editing Android apps has never been easier. Both installed apps and ordinary apk files can be modified without stress.

If for once you have ever wanted to modify installed app data, with ApkEditor you are just good to go.

How to edit

Download ApkEditor
Install and run

If you want to edit an apk file in your sdcard, click on Select an APK file. If its an installed app, select second option: Select Apk from App
Navigate to the folder where the apk file is located. select it and from the popup, click on Full Edit (RESOURCE RE-BUILD), now allow Apkeditor to completely load the file.

You now see three (3) different tabs at bottom of your phone screen.

First is the String. Here you can edit or modify all the text content of the app. You can change any default text to whatever you want.

Second is the Resource tab. From here you can change any icon(s) in the app.

Last is Manifest. There you can grant, modify, or decline the app certain permissions, etc (Don't just come in here unless you 'know what you're doing') :P

After all the hard work has been done, click Save, (located at the top-right of your screen). Be patient and wait for the app to be repacked and signed.

Once that is complete, you'll get this screen...

Ensure to follow the instructions on that screenshot and uninstall the original app before attempting to install the modified version. Else, you'll get this error...

Done! You have successfully edited the app. Launch the modified app to see changes.

Extract apk from installed apps with a single click

Previously, I published an article on how to extract apk file from installed applications on your Android device with the use of X-plore file manager. But this is entirely different because it's a whole lot easier and faster than the previous.

Using this means, you can extract both User (apps installed by you) and System (stock apps) apps from your device. All this is done with the use of a very lightweight app and most importantly, it does not require root access.

How to extract

It's pretty easy. Just download the app, install and run. All apps installed on your device will be displayed, then from the list just click on any app(s) you wish to extract and it will be saved to /sdcard/ExtractedApks.

There as been some great news and leaks about new devices coming soon. The new LG pay smartcard has been announced; Htc One M10 spec has been revealed. There has also been some rumours that the new Iphone 7 will comes with wireless charging technology and also a new mobile processor called MediaTek Helio P20 will be available this summer.

Rumours About The LG Payment Smartcard

Cashless payment system has become part of our lives, and today we all walk and move with our credit or debit cards everywhere we go. There have been some payment system in the past like the Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Android Pay, which makes the smartphone a powerful payment instruments. It is possible that the Korean company LG is also tring to influence the market in the most unexpected way.

Korean media claim that LG is working on an electronic smart card, which can combine the data of several payment cards and save the user from having to carry a lot of "plastic" card everywhere.

It is alleged that LG Pay card will contain a small LCD-display and a minimal set of functions to manage. It can work with magnetic card readers, however, is unlikely to get support for new payment terminals. Currently, LG is in talks with several companies, and therefore the first announcement may take place later this year.

According to EVLEAKS the new upcoming flagship known as HTC One M10 (Perfume) will have the following spec:

About The Wireless Technology chargeing for iPhone 7

The wireless charging capability has been announced by apple four years ago, but i think apple is going to implement that feature in the the upcoming Iphone 7.
Enough information is not available about this new feature as at now, but it appears this will allow you charge your phone by just placing it on a charger.

Back in 2012 Apple has registered a patent on technology for the near-field magnetic resonance (NFMR), which in theory allows you to charge a battery at a distance of one meter. If Apple implement this, users will for the first time becomes truly independent from their cables and chargers.

About The New Coming MediaTek Helio P20 Processor

According to the source, in the summer of 2016 a number of smart phones will be realeased with the upcoming Helio P20 processor, which will be having 10 cores made of 16-nm process technology. The exact released date is not specified.

The Exact specifications of Helio P20 is unknown, but is most likely that MediaTek will combine core Cortex-A72 and Cortex-A53 - for example, six cores Cortex-A53 and four core Cortex-A72.

[TUT] How to fix Bootloop and Deadboot for Myphone Rio Grande

Note: I'm not liable for any damage for your device by proceeding this you accept any liabilities.

USB_VCOM_Driver.rar
MediaTek_SP_Flash_Tool_V5.1532.00.zip

Instructions:
1. Installing Drivers

1.) Download Mediatek Auto Installer and Extract:

1.1)Just choose your Operating System Win 7/Win8

2.) For Win 10
Install Drivers USB_VCOM_Driver.rar

In Device Manager Right click on PC name(Right Side) and then click on Add legacy hardware as shown in image below.

Now in Add Hardware Wizard click on Next » Install the Hardware that i manually select from a list (Advanced) » Show All Devices » Next » Have a Disk, Now select the any inf file from where you extracted the downloaded VCOM driver package.

3. Now Click on Next and select Install this driver software anyway and wait for finishing the process.

4. After installation is finished then Restart your computer, That's it.

5. Open flash_tool.exe, click on the Download Tab
Extract the downloaded Stock rom to desktop of your computer.

6. Click Scatter-loading and browse for the scatter file (MT6582_Android_scatter)

7. For Bootloop only
Make sure flashing mode is set to "Download Only" and check mark all except Preloader.
Note: If deadboot/hardbrick set "Download+Format" and check Preloader.

8. Click Download.

9. Turn off your phone, connect your phone to the PC and wait for the flashing to commence.

10. Green Circle image with check will show once flashing is completed. That's it!

11. Disconnect your phone in USB cord then on your phone! If still bootloop Go to recovery mode

Reboot and press vol up and power On button. Then perform Wipe cache and data or Factory reset!

Note: . After Flashing the ROM, you will be stucked up in MyPhone logo. So follow the steps below.

A. Turn Off the Phone

B. Hold Power + Volume Down

C. Go to Signaling Test, and press Menu button.

D. Wait for a while and you will see selections, choose TEST PASS and REBOOT.
